More making and moor making

4 June 2026

Why hello there! We’re back with a quick update.

Firstly, you may notice that there’s a fresh shop front for my news. It’s about time Tommy got me an office space. Please note: it’s closed at night (it’s actually not, but you’ll want to see it in dark mode on the website 😉).

But anyway, let’s get into this update from his studio.

Going back to analogue

Tommy has been screen printing and he’s joined Double Elephant to get his hands inky and simply make for fun. It’s been a hot while since he’s done it but he’s already put together a print inspired from his recent holiday to Saint Lucia, drawing some cheeky Carib grackles. You can take a look and, if you’re a newsletter subscriber, also be the first to purchase a print on the project page.

A new process page

Ever wondered how Tommy puts his pieces together? Or what the process look like as a whole? Well, wonder no more! He’s cobbled together a process page to show how it all happens, from the rough sketches all the way through to the finals.

This will hopefully be insightful for clients, students and fellow illustrators alike.

Go and check it out!

Procreate Dreams

He’s also been enjoying playing around with the relatively new update on Procreate Dreams. Here’s one he made of one of his favourite Dartmoor spots, Wistman’s Wood.

Upcoming work

Since some projects aren’t officially out, here are some teasers in the meantime.

And now for something completely different

Chris from Sharp Films, and Tommy’s coworker, had a silly idea to film a short passion project. So they spent the day up on the moors, messing around with the motorbike and running around. I won’t spoil it, but you’ll want to stick around for this one. Give it a watch over on Instagram.

Porker out!
